Horizontal flow wrappers
A horizontal flow wrapper, also called a pillow wrapper, closes a solid product in film with a back seal and an end seal at each end. The reference model on this page is the SZ180L, a three-servo machine.
Soontrue’s SZ180L page lists cake, bread, biscuit, candy, chocolate, daily necessities, face masks, chemical products, medicine and hardware. Product shape, film and seal settings decide whether a given item belongs on this machine.
Figures on this page are copied from the Soontrue pages linked below. They are manufacturer webpage claims, not a rate we guarantee on your product. Options discussed here are topics for the quotation, not a statement that every item is on the standard machine. Warranty terms are not stated on this site because Soontrue’s own pages do not agree.

The same page says a double-jaw arrangement can reach 200 bags/min, and elsewhere it mentions bag length set from 60 mm to 600 mm. Those sentences describe other setups. They are not combined with the table into one rated speed or one bag range. The applicable configuration has to be confirmed.

What we need to discuss
- Manual or automatic feeding, and the discharge height of your upstream machine.
- Film structure, print repeat and whether automatic splicing is required.
- Whether the standard three-servo machine or a double-jaw arrangement is the one being quoted.
The source page lists color-mark tracking, packless and cutless functions, cutter torque protection and a film splicer among machine features. Treat optional feeding and line integration as items to confirm in the quotation.
Questions we hear
What speed can I plan for?
Use 30–150 bags/min as the published SZ180L table range. Actual output depends on product, pack length, film and how the product is fed. Do not plan the line on the 200 bags/min double-jaw sentence unless that configuration is the one confirmed for you.
Can the machine be tried on our product?
Send product and film details. We will coordinate any sample-test requirement with Soontrue before anyone confirms suitability.
Will it connect to the rest of the line?
Share the line layout, discharge height and output. Interface requirements are reviewed before quotation.
