Collaborative palletizing robots

These robots pick cases, bags or similar loads and stack them on a pallet to a stored pattern. Soontrue’s robot business, Songzhi, was established in 2021 inside the Soontrue group that began in 1993. The figures below come from the current Chinese product listing.

WP-30 and WP-50XL are the two models we use as the export reference. The same listing publishes six more WP variants. All eight are in the family table so the numbers stay attached to the right model.

On the listing, maximum power is printed as “3.5K” for WP-30, WP-30L and WP-30XL, and as “3.5KW” for the other models, all under a kW heading. The table uses 3.5 kW for every row.

The WP-30 page describes collaborative operation and fence-free coordination. Guarding still depends on the load, the gripper, the speed and the rules at the installation site. Fence-free running is not treated as a standard condition. Confirm whether the published payload includes the gripper, how the cycle is counted, and which point the stack height is measured from.

What we need to discuss

Load weight and dimensions, including the gripper you expect to use.
Pallet size, stack height, pattern and the incoming rate.
Suction or mechanical gripper, pallet positions, conveyor height and the safety provisions required locally.

Questions we hear

Which model should we start from?

Send load weight and size, pallet size, stack height, pattern and the rate coming into the cell. WP-30 and WP-50XL are reference points, not a guess we make from the product name alone.

Does the payload include the gripper?

That has to be confirmed for the configuration before it is quoted.

Can it run without a fence?

Only if the risk assessment for that installation says so. Do not assume fence-free operation from the word collaborative.
